Pharmacist Maryam Rabiu Gwarzo is a pharmacist par excellence with diverse experience spanning over 3 decades of successful careers in pharmaceuticals both public and private sectors (Hospitals, medical sales and marketing as well as International not -for- profit organizations).

Well regarded in the health sector where she worked previously, owing principally to her collaborative practice among healthcare professionals and other colleagues. Pharmacist Maryam Gwarzo is a 1978 graduate of Pharmacy from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and went to Bayero University, Kano where she studied a Post Graduate Diploma in Management between 1992 to 1993. She attended Government Girls College, Dala Kano
from 1968 - 1973 and the Rippon Grammar School Yorkshire United Kingdom in 1973 - 1975.

She worked with the Kano state government at various general hospitals within Kano Municipal from 1981 to 1994. In 1996 she attained the position of Chief Pharmacist before she voluntary retired from the civil service in 1998 to start a pharmaceutical business and consultancy.
