Dr Ummalkhair Aminu Dantata is a founding member and trustee of Kidney Care and Transplant Foundaon Trust and an Associate Professor at the Department of Linguisc and Foreign Languages, Bayero University Kano.

She hails from Dala quarters in Kano and started her primary educaon at Kano Capital School before she proceeded to Government Girls College, Dala. Dr Ummalkhair is also an alumnus of College of Arts and Science Studies (CAS) where she obtained her IJMB “A” LEVEL. She is a 1990 graduate of BA Hausa, MA Hausa 1997 and Phd Hausa 2009 both from Bayero University Kano.

One of her special publicaons Monophthongizaon in Hausa, was published in 2019 and she has so many journal arcles, conference presented papers and joint authorship publicaons. She loves traveling and reading and she is happily married with children.
